Chris has more than 12 years experience working in private physio clinics in Australia and the United Kingdom. He recently completed his Masters in Sports Physiotherapy. During his time in the UK, Chris worked with several of the Wales National Football squads and national level Welsh track and field athletes. While Chris has a special interest in Sports injuries, he has predominately worked in general Physiotherapy clinics and has great expertise in treating all musculoskeletal injuries, particularly spinal pain.

Outside of work Chris competes as an elite middle distance runner, previously competing for Wales and more recently taking bronze medals at the Australian Championships in the 3000m steeplechase in 2012 and 2013.  Chris conducted his Masters thesis, looking at lower back and lower limb bio-mechanics during running and has a keen interest in this area.

Chris believes in a hands-on physio treatment approach which includes a combination of manipulation, joint mobilisation, soft tissue massage, pliates/core stengthening and providing a comprehensive rehabilitation home exercise plan.  Chris is passionate about working out the cause of your injury so that he can make sure it doesn’t re-occur!  Chris is available at both Kew and Hawthorn East clinics.
