B App.Sci (Physiotherapy)
Connie was born and bred in sunny Queensland and graduated from James Cook University in 2011. During her training she gained high quality skills in rural health which involved complex cases and a firsthand practitioner for diagnosing medical and musculoskeletal conditions. All of her work has been based in private musculoskeletal practices based in tropical north Queensland.
Connie has a keen interest in sports both professionally and individually. She was the head physiotherapist for the Queensland Outback Barbarians Rugby Union team which toured the United States in 2014. She has also been the senior physiotherapist for the Mackay Queensland Basketball for 2014 and 2015. Her excellent musculoskeletal skills, pre-season conditioning and injury management helped lead the Mackay Meteors to win the Queensland Basketball League.
Most of her interests lie in musculoskeletal physiotherapy especially adolescent health, sporting injuries, bio-mechanical rehabilitation and complex shoulders. Connie has a special interest in knees as she has had first-hand experience throughout her sporting life. Outside of work Connie enjoys barracking for the Queensland Reds Rugby, doing Pilates, discovering new coffee shops and walking her dog Humphrey.
