Maddy graduated from Melbourne University with a Masters of Physiotherapy after first completing a Sports and Exercise Science Degree at Deakin University. Since graduating, Maddy has worked in private practice and with sporting clubs including local and VFL football clubs.  Throughout her time in private practice she has developed strong skills in treating all musculoskeletal injuries including; neck and back pain, work related injuries, postural dysfunction and sporting injuries.  Maddy has a passion for and gets great satisfaction from eliminating pain, but, equally enjoys setting up programs to ensure more chronic problems are dealt with long term.   Maddy has also worked with professional firefighters in injury rehabilitation, prevention and fitness for work assessments.

From working with active populations, Maddy has developed a strong interest in using exercise rehab and Clinical Pilates in conjunction with manual therapy to assist clients get back to their activities of interest.  Maddy also finds that less active populations often benefit even more from Clinical Pilates and exercise therapy and gains great satisfaction from seeing people from all fitness levels achieve their goals!  Specific interest areas are anterior knee pain as well as acute and chronic low back pain.

Outside of work Maddy enjoys being outside as much as possible, hanging out with friends and family, and cheering on the mighty Carlton Blues!
